Print Liberation
Lets say you had two options for lunch today:
Sandwich #1 is tightly wrapped in plastic as it stares out the little vending machine window, begging you to push D1. It traveled to its current home more than a week ago, after being constructed in a factory with thousands of other bland menu offerings.
Sandwich #2 is made exactly as you want it--and in your case, this might mean extra pickles and mayonnaise--at the moment you order it. Thats right...it didnt exist until you ordered it. And its been created precisely for you.
Obviously youre going to pick the second option, right?
Here at Print Liberation, we think of ourselves as two guys running a sandwich shop. Everything that leaves our studio is printed and designed by us, Jamie Dillon and Nick Paparone. Fresh, delicious, and new.
We are from Dayton, Ohio (home of many earth-shattering innovations, including the A-frame ladder, the electric starter, the robot voice, and those little metal tabs on soda cans). We met back in ye olde days of 1993, brought together by our shared love of print, design, and culture. Print Liberation was born in 1999 while working at a screen printing shop in high school. We stayed after hours to print t-shirts and stickers, which we sold to impatient people waiting in lines at shows and parties.
We worked in advertising for a while, gathering experience and mastering our craft. Then we went out on our own. We have designed for all types and sizes of clients: from small one-man operations to army-sized organizations. We have created logos, posters and full print campaigns for sneakers, car shares, museums and retail spaces. We have also managed photo shoots for major magazines. And if you arent impressed yet: we wrote a BOOK on screen printing!
